During this legendary 42.195 km event, you will have the chance to walk along the most beautiful streets of the city in an incredible atmosphere.
Along your route you will be able to see around twenty unmissable monuments such as the Jardin des Plantes, the island of Versailles or the Machines de l’île.
Riding on its success, the crossing of the Erdre on a 324-meter floating pontoon is making a grand return.
The start will be on Sunday, April 26 at 9:15 a.m. from the Machines de l'Île to the Parc des Expositions de la Beaujoire.
The Nantes Marathon also offers a half-marathon (21.1 km) accessible to all levels of runners.
This race, particularly anticipated in the region, sells out every year.
Its entirely urban course will take you through the heart of Nantes and allow you to admire architectural gems such as Place Royale and Place Graslin.
Runners will also cross the spectacular pontoon bridge over the Erdre River.
The race will start on Sunday, April 26, at 8:00 a.m. from the Machines de l'Île.
Organized at night, these races promise a unique atmosphere thanks to musical entertainment all along the course. It follows the same route as the individual marathon.
The start is scheduled under the naves of the machines and the kick-off on Saturday, April 25 at 9:30 p.m.
The event is already sold out but a waiting list has been set up.
This friendly event in teams of four is reserved for companies and associations.
Each participant runs a 9 to 12 km section before passing a timing chip to their teammate.
