The origins of this charming village

Formerly, the village was an island territory belonging to the island of Rezé with two other islands. Fishing was the main activity of the inhabitants of Trentemoult. Wondering why houses are colorful? The fishermen used the remains of paint from their boat to colour the front of their house. According to rumors, the name of the village comes from "Trente soft" which means thirty mounds.
