The Château des ducs de Bretagne

Both a pleasure and defensive castle, the Château des ducs de Bretagne is located in the heart of Nantes.

Built in the 13ᵉ century, it was only five centuries later that its construction was completed. Its gates are now open to visitors: the moat gardens, the ramparts and the moat are freely accessible.

The site also houses the Nantes History Museum.
