Nantes Christmas Market 2025
From November 20th to December 28th, 2025, Nantes hosts the 26th edition of its iconic Christmas market 🎄.
Located in the heart of the city, on Place Royale and Place du Commerce, this magical event is the largest Christmas market in western France.
On the program: a visit from Santa Claus and enchanting shows ⭐.
A taste of the holiday season not to be missed!
Every year, the Nantes Christmas Market attracts thousands of visitors who come to enjoy a warm and festive atmosphere.
The decorated wooden chalets, the twinkling lights, and the aromas of cinnamon and mulled wine immediately immerse you in the Christmas spirit.
Over a hundred exhibitors will be on hand to offer handcrafted products, local specialties, decorations, and gift ideas to put under the Christmas tree.
It's also an opportunity to discover regional crafts in a friendly atmosphere.
Let yourself be swept away by the magic of Christmas with numerous shows and enchanting entertainment.
Children aged 3 to 12 can let their imaginations run wild in the "Creative Workshop" chalet, from 2 pm to 6 pm.
Every Saturday, a fun, Christmas-themed craft activity is offered. And you can take their creation home with you to put under the tree!
To immerse themselves even further in the Christmas spirit, they can head to the "Face Painting" workshop on Wednesdays (from 2 pm to 6 pm).
Under the expert hands of makeup artists, enchanting creations will take shape on their faces.
The magic wouldn't be complete without Santa Claus 🎅.
Come visit him in his illuminated house on Place Royale every Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday starting December 21st. He will be delighted to grant your little ones' wishes.
Every weekend, you can enjoy a variety of entertainment.
This year, the Christmas market will kick off on November 21st at 5:30 pm with the Ice Fairies and their enchanting world.
On December 19th, come sing with the Col d’Or choir starting at 2:30 pm.
