LU, a century of innovation (1846 - 1957)
Through this exhibition, discover part of the rich heritage of the Lefèvre-Utile (LU) company.
Discover the ambition of a family from Nantes turned towards modernity and creation, through more than 450 objects including many originals from the collections of the Château des Ducs de Bretagne! The exhibition shows the creativity and innovation that characterised this brand from its foundation in 1846 to 1957, the year in which the famous LU logo was created by the designer Raymond Loewy.
The History Museum brings together the greatest LU objects in France, an extraordinary collection of more than 1,500 objects and numerous originals on the history of the Lefèvre-Utile (LU) company.
The design of the biscuits, their packaging and their distribution, not forgetting the advertising, which called on the greatest artists of the time: all these themes will be illustrated by objects, drawings and paintings mostly unknown to the public.
